We Built This Because We Couldn't Find It.
Aluvère started with a simple frustration.
After being diagnosed with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, our founder was told by his optometrist that the most effective at-home treatment was warm compress therapy — applied consistently, twice a day, for ten minutes at a time.
The problem wasn't the therapy. The problem was doing it.
Wet cloths cooled down in under two minutes. Microwavable beaded masks overheated, then went cold, and eventually stopped holding heat altogether. Every method required effort, preparation, and timing — and none of them delivered the consistent temperature the therapy actually required to work.
So we built what didn't exist.
The Aluvère Heated Eye Mask was designed from the ground up around one goal: make clinician-recommended warm compress therapy so simple, comfortable, and consistent that you'll actually do it every single day. No microwaves. No wet cloths. No guesswork. Just plug in, put it on, and let it work.
We're a small team based in Australia, and we care deeply about the people who use our products. Dry eye disease is chronically underdiagnosed and undertreated — and far too many people are masking it with drops when the solution is right there in the clinical literature.
We exist to close that gap.
